I’d like to send a big thank you readers, and followers! I’d also like to send a huge thank you to Gateway Regional High School and the Football Team because if it wasn’t for me going there in 2010 I’d never had the chance to be able to have a dream like this come true. Finally I’d like to say thank you to Coach and my neighbor John Morris for letting me come over and bug you for an interview here and there for this blog and my other class.
I will be continuing this blog into next season because I found it fun even though I maybe will not be doing reporting every week but I will try. The type of posts I will be doing in the future will be game photos and maybe the occasional slideshow here and there if I get enough photos.
For all of you who are looking at this and you are attending Gateway or are in high school never be afraid to reach for your dreams because I’m doing that right now and I’m in college and if it may seem like a crazy dream, dream it anyway because if it is something you are passionate about dream about it and then make it a reality! Never be afraid to reach for your dreams and make it happen. Who knows you may end up working at a job you love and if you love your job you will never work a day in your life, is how the old saying goes.
While learning how to blog and sports journalism, I’ve learned that the littlest play can have a huge impact because in the crazy world of sports anything can happen, no matter how big or small the play is.
In my eyes I feel like my five best posts were my final post, https://gatorsofnj.wordpress.com/2013/12/19/final-project/

The annual thanksgiving football game between Gateway Regional High School and Woodbury High School is going to be at Gateway. This is the game that everyone who has went to Gateway or Woodbury comes out to watch because it is almost like a huge class reunion and it is tradition for alumni to go to the game. This is also the time that the seniors have one last game to play before they leave for college. Some may play while in college and some will not.
With Gateway and Woodbury there is only about a five mile distance between the two because Woodbury is the next town over from where Gateway is located. Depending on where you live you would have to travel through Woodbury to get to Gateway.
As for the game itself Gateway has a two game winning streak going into Thursday morning’s game, Woodbury is coming off a 2-0 playoff loss to Penns Grove. While Woodbury’s record is 5-4 they have lost to Sterling, Haddonfield and Paulsboro.
This will make for an interesting game for Thanksgiving morning.
This is all for now, but there will be more to come.
For my Live event post I will be covering the Friday night lights game between Gateway Regional High school and Lindenwold in Lindenwold.
Going into Friday night’s game Gateway has a record of 0-7 and Lindenwold has a record of 0-7 as well. Hopefully The Gators can win this game even though it is on the road away from the Swamp.
During the game I will be tweeting and taking pictures to show how the night ended how it did.
That is all for now but come Friday I will be posting more!
